Final Regards Some of My Last Words      Hi guys! Welcome to my blog where I will talk about my entire experience. I will not miss doing this project, but I am very thankful for the multiple things it has taught me! I felt like I suffered a lot through this entire thing and I was constantly stressed every few days. I have never liked working in groups because I find it hard to collaborate and reach compromises. It is especially hard to figure out responsibilities and rely on each other. I am still very grateful for all of my group members. Honestly, I sometimes think I was a bit annoying because I was very persistent about getting our work done and even telling them I might leave the group because I could not handle how we had barely any progress. Nonetheless, we spoke and made agreements, which brought us through this entire situation. As a matter of fact, I will definitely use my new experience of working in groups to assign roles early on and find days when we are all free early, so

My Role

My Role What did I do? Planning      I played a big role in the planning process of our project. In fact, we had two different plots for our final project, and I came up with both of them, which were the plots of the two projects and the little girl going missing (the one we chose). When it was time to storyboard, I LOCKED IN! Instantly, I was on my MacBook in my notes app, ready to begin typing, and I tried to be as fast as possible. Both of the plots largely inspired my taste in movies, such as The Black Phone and Creep. I've watched my fair share of horror movies, so it came naturally to me. I set deadlines for everyone to finish their work on time before the due dates so we were all able to include them in our blogs, and I made sure we had days to film because I knew that we would easily fall behind if I did not do something. Additionally, my house was the original filming location, and I had to make a lot of adjustments in my schedule for them to be able to come over. Acting

Blog Changes

Blog Changes This made me kind of sad.     BOOM!!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!! The moment has come to change my blog...to dark and SCARY! I wish it could be cute forever, but sacrifices must be made! Before my blog was super adorable with my favorite cartoon character, which is Rilakkuma. The coloring was bright with the use of warm colors, particularly yellow because it resembles happiness and lightness. At this point, we hadn't decided on the horror genre yet, and I kind of wanted to go for a more youthful movie at the start. I just decorated it to my own taste and did a bright aesthetic. However, I did start to use scary images for my blog posts in the middle of nowhere because we decided on the plot of our final project, so it looked really random with the cute background and scary little blog icons. Hence, I fixed it and made it all spooky because it was bothering me.     As a result, I had to make my blog fit a more dark and sinister aesthetic. I changed the background to the antagonist

Project Progress

Project Progress I am worried!      So how is the project going? Hmm..not that good, but not that bad. I pray that we will be able to finish on time because I am very scared.      Haha...my stress never ends! You would think I learned my lesson with AICE Global Perspectives, with procrastination, but it looks like I did not. I know how to make PowerPoint and write essays, and if I push myself hard enough, I can finish that eight-minute presentation. However, filming and editing are not my expertise, especially with having to rely on other people. Basically, we do not have time this break to film with each other because two out of four of us went on vacation and our spring breaks are almost completely booked out, so we will not be able to refilm our shots unfortunately, which really disappointed me, but things happen and we will just work around it. We found out about our schedules pretty late, so we were only at the beginning of our editing because we were waiting for the rest of the f

Secret Plot

Secret Plot The Hidden Gem!      While we were coming up with new plots because our old plot didn’t work out…there was a plot that I never revealed to my group members that I liked a lot. I did think it was a bit corny, but I honestly wish I had spoken up. I LOVE COMING-OF-AGE MOVIES! They are my favorite movies, such as The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Mean Girls. I wanted to step a little bit away from the whole horror genre (but still incorporate it) and include the coming-of-age genre. Youth (the plot that never saw the light of day)      Basically, it was going to follow this teenage girl who just lived her life freely, growing up and having fun. She’s riding her bike, shopping, and hanging out with her friends when she is young and happy. I wanted to carry the concept of growing up or “till what age are not kids anymore?” Suddenly, it cuts to a shot where she has a bloody knife in her hands and she blood all over her hands. She looks at it in shock and fear of what she just di
